1: Frontier Thalassemia Center
The centre went through both a repair and a repaint to its walls. After repair the walls were painted with children friendly murals, breathing life into the area.
2: Independence Day
For Independence day, we selected an old wall in University town and our volunteers painted a mural on it. The wall which was dirty and had advertisements painted on, was changed drastically into something appropriate for Independence day.
3: Khyber Teaching Hospital
The Khyber Teaching Hospital front wall took a total of 24 hours over three days. Our team had to put on several coatings to cover up the walls. Several volunteers regardless of age helped us to which we are forever grateful.
4: Naseer Teaching Hospital
With the help of the administrative section of the hospital, the waiting area and OPD of paediatrics section was painted with bright, vibrant colours and cartoons were painted on the walls.
5: Police Stations
Wadaan identified a police station which was in a very bad condition. The walls were rundown and the bricks were bare of paint and full of old damaged cement. A total of 12 hours were spent by our team during the summer to bring this to completion.
